New Costco Coming to Saratoga Springs, UT (Summer 2020)
Apr 03, 2020The city of Saratoga Springs, Utah announced last summer that a Costco Wholesale will be coming to the city in 2020!
This will be the first Costco on the west side of Utah County, and a huge step for the Saratoga-Eagle Mountain community. Residents will soon be able to avoid the traffic which has progressively gotten worse in and around Salt Lake's point of the mountain. The closest Costco-Wholesale locations are currently in Lehi and Orem.
At the time, Saratoga Springs didn't have a timeline or projected opening date. Even now information is still limited. Here's a look at what details we were able to find...
Costco in Saratoga Springs
Location: West side of Redwood Road, North of Market Street
Projected Opening: "End of Summer, 2020"
Area Improvements: Installation of two new public streets, connecting Market Street and Redwood Road. These streets will be called "Medical Drive" and "Exchange Drive".
We're very excited about what this means for the area. Growth between Lehi and Eagle Mountain has only increased during the past five years. Adding a Costco down the street from the city's 2009's Wal-Mart is a good indication of projected market stability.
