Intermountain Healthcare is the largest healthcare provider in the Intermountain West region of the United States. With hospitals and other medical services all over Utah and Idaho, they also operate under their insurance brand SelectHealth.

Just recently, their Salt Lake City headquarters announced a second Primary Children's Hospital campus in Lehi, Utah. The hospital is expected to open in 2023.

While exact details on site plans and dates of initial construction have not yet been released, Fox13 stated that "The new hospital will provide pediatric trauma and emergency care for children in and around Utah County as well as intensive care and behavioral health care. It is scheduled to open in 2023 and is part of a $500 million dollar project, with the goal of building the nation's model health system."
