January 2024

While progress at Villas at the Pointe has been slow, things are improving. The site contractor has now been able to over-excavate and construct the building pads for the 200 series townhomes. In the video, you can see rectangular areas that are now ready for footings and foundation which is set to begin the first week in February. Units 101 and 102 are nearly completely framed, with the builder scheduling a 4 way inspection for this week. The remaining units in the 100 series of townhomes are in various stages of framing and foundation. Lumber is dropping this week for more framing, with all 100 series units expected to be underway with framing by the end of February. November 2023

While slowly, construction continues to move forward at Villas at the Pointe in Ogden, UT. In the video below, you'll see that progress is being made on the 100 series townhomes, with one building framed, another with foundation and slab poured, and the remainder with foundations and underground plumbing in place. The 200 series townhomes need to be over-excavated and then backfilled with new soil so that the foundations can be dug and poured. Once the 200 series buildings are poured, excavation for the 300 series stacked flats can commence. If you have any questions, please reach out to your designated FIG agent.

September 2023

Site work has been tedious at the Villas at the Pointe, but foundations are starting to pour in the 100 series townhomes, with all but two of the buildings having footings and foundation in place. The remaining 100 series buildings are expected to pour by mid September. The 200 series buildings are starting excavation for footings and foundation, with the builder projecting to dig and pour all foundations and flatwork on the townhomes by the end of October. Once the flatwork is in place for the townhomes, construction loans for the stacked flat units will begin (likely later this year). Please contact your FIG agent with any questions you have.

Villas at the Pointe is a master-planned 4plex community in Ogden, UT. Construction started in the Fall of 2022. Units are comprised of 3 bed, 2.5 bath townhouse units with either one or two car attached garages. The second phase features stacked style fourplex units, each with 2 beds, 2.5 baths.

The Villas at the Pointe will feature a clubhouse with a gym, HOA offices, playground, dog park, and a pool. The first certificates of occupancy are expected to deliver in mid 2024! Keep an eye on this page for more updates about Villas at the Pointe!

After a brutally wet winter and Spring, the horizontal development team has finished cutting in the necessary drivable surface for construction equipment. They’ve also finished the necessary utilities and have permits ready to be picked up at the City of Ogden. Look for a lot of excavation, footings, foundations, and underground plumbing to start over the next few weeks!
