News from the FIG Team
You probably see a hundred emails and posts about COVID-19 per day. We do too. But it doesn't change the fact that we sincerely wish you, your family, your business, and your health all the best during this unprecedented time. We hope you're safe and doing what you can to make your way through this! In the meantime, the Federal Reserve is dumping an astonishing amount of money into the market. There aren't enough digits on most calculators to track it. They've pulled just about every rabbit out of their hat to make sure the market is liquid and individuals and businesses can get financing.
In addition, the US Government will eventually figure out how to distribute stimulus checks to most Americans, fund small business payroll loans, load the SBA up with enough cash to buy Jupiter, and bankroll a host of other corporate bailouts. Whether it actually works or not is beside the point. Whether you agree with it or not doesn't matter. Because it's happening. And you can't pump that much money out without eventually seeing an increase in taxes or inflation. Or both. So as a real estate investor, it's time to get aggressive on tax savings. As we've talked with investors all over the USA, we've realized there is a lot of confusion as to how depreciation works, how much you can get, who qualifies, etc. So now that we've got you at home and you have nowhere else to go...
Let's get these "exciting" tax questions answered!
